THE QUESTION
Stay in the flow.
A small writing or editing task can become a context switch: copy text, open an AI app, enter a prompt, and bring the result back.
The approach
Caret AI brings the interaction beside the cursor. Select text, press Shift twice, enter a prompt, and receive the result on the clipboard. The project also explores desktop appearance through a custom PySide6 theming library.

The engineering choice
The interaction starts from the application already in use. Keyboard access and clipboard output keep the utility lightweight and close to a real everyday workflow.
